This is the most critical step. We balance your books against your actual bank statements for every single month. This ensures your records are 100% accurate and audit-proof.

The Handoff
You receive a complete set of financial statements (Balance Sheet & Profit/Loss) for every year we cleaned. You are now ready to hand your file to your CPA and file your returns.

Will you judge me for how bad my books are?
Never. We are a “Judgement-Free Zone.” Our job is to solve the problem, not lecture you. We have seen businesses with shoeboxes of receipts and zero digital records. We fix it all.
How much does a clean-up cost?
It depends on volume. A clean-up for a freelancer with 100 transactions is different than a contractor with 2,000. We charge a flat project fee (typically starting at $750) so you know the exact cost upfront.
How far back can you go?
As far as necessary. We commonly handle clean-ups for the past 1–3 years. If you need to file back taxes for 2023, we can build 2023 for you.
Do I need to find all my old paper receipts?
Not necessarily. We can build the books primarily from bank statements and credit card feeds. For IRS compliance, we will advise you on what major receipts (over $75) you absolutely must dig up.
